CLIENT INFORMATION · PRE-SESSION REVIEW
Health Waiver
Assisted stretching should feel comfortable, considered and personal. Please review the health questionnaire and consent information before your appointment.
Before we begin
Dr Stretcher provides assisted stretching and general mobility guidance. Sessions are not medical treatment, physiotherapy, diagnosis or rehabilitation.
Health and safety
Before a session, tell your practitioner about any relevant condition or change in your health, including an injury, pain, recent surgery, joint replacement, osteoporosis, pregnancy, dizziness, heart or blood-pressure condition, neurological or respiratory condition, or any advice to restrict exercise. Ask a qualified healthcare professional if you are unsure whether stretching is appropriate.
Your practitioner may modify, postpone or decline a session when there are safety concerns. Stretching should never be forced or continued through pain.
Risks and your choices
Assisted stretching can sometimes cause soreness, temporary discomfort or muscle and soft-tissue injury. Please communicate immediately if something feels uncomfortable or painful. You may pause or stop a stretch or session at any time.
